I have tried to let only specific groups use the Shoutbox but it seems that it doesnt show up even if Im in the group. When left blank like it says it does work and show for all but no groups can see it at all when i put them or even one in. Any help is appreciated!
Are you adding group ids or group names ??

I am using group names with MyShoutbox. How can I find group ids?
Goto ACP > Users & Groups.
Select 'Groups' from the left panel. You'll have all your groups listed.
The listing is as per group IDs as 1, 2, and so on.
For double cross check click on any group name, follow the last digit of url at your address bar:
http://somedomain.com/admin/index.php?module=user-groups&action=edit&gid=2 <<=
that last number is the group ID of the group you've just selected. (here its '2').
Use that number instead of the group name for configuring shout box.
