I've now tried it in both Firefox and Chrome and it's working perfectly fine for me. Which version of Firefox are you on?

AdminCP > Users and Groups > Groups > edit your usergroup > under "user and permissions tab" > make sure you've added something in "Points to Award/Take Away:" option field.
