Full Version: 404 errors on Newreply?

On newreply I get a not allowed access error to newreply.php. I read this: http://wiki.mybb.com/index.php/Help:Mod_security and deactivated plugins to test that out, though it didn't change anything, I still received the errors (Unless it's the Google SEO plugin doing it, which I didn't deactivate). I also get random "never loading" errors with quick edit, when the loading image appears and just never goes to the edit page (And when it does load, hitting submit gives me another 404 error).

This problem is annoying, please help. :x I am currently banned from my own site (Thanks to the 404 errors and the host's autobanning system), but I'll link when I get access again.

And this is the error I get:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /newthread.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Check the permissions for "newthread.php"
Well, it works all the time, just not when I try to post a specific thread in a specific section. Also, just changed the permissions to 777 and got an internal server error, so that definitely didn't help. xD
755 is the default, I think.
Tried it, didn't give me the internal server error, but it's still giving me a 404 and no access. :/

Also, just to say, the ACP tells me all the file permissions are set correctly.
It could be a .htaccess issue, have you edited that recently?
Yeah, I edited it for SEO, here's my .htacess file:

Quote:# EXAMPLE .htaccess FOR MYBB WITH GOOGLE SEO URL
# -------------------------------------------------------------------
# This file is identical to MyBB's htaccess.txt example file,
# with rewrite rules for a standard Google SEO install added.
#
# Before using this file please make sure to:
#
# - replace /MyBB/ with your forum folder, e.g. / or /forum/
# - replace yoursite/MyBB with your forum URL
# - name the file '.htaccess' (starting with the dot, no .txt)
#
# Alternatively you can add the required rewrite rules to your
# existing .htaccess, the specific rules required will be displayed
# on the plugin status page once Google SEO URL is enabled.
