I'd like the ability to merge the posts from one forum into another. In some cases a forum does not take off as expected and while there are a couple pages of posts, it would be beneficial to be able to merge all the posts into an forum.

I know I can do inline moderation, but that is slow and probably not as efficient as a bulk move could do in the ACP.

Update threads set fid = newfid where fid = oldfid
Update posts set fid = newfid where fid = oldfid
Run the recount and rebuild tools

If you delete the forum it will give you this option.

Edit: Well it seems you are correct. Maybe I'm thinking of another software that did that.

no problem at my end, I knew it was not there as I had accidentally deleted a populated forum before and had to do a partial restore from a backup
