Worker is much faster and uses less memory, but can also cause serious issues with cookies and blank pages.

Apache config for Worker MPM vs Prefork MPM

Bottom line = Apache sucks?
Anyone here using an Apache alternative, or any experience using Apache worker mode instead of prefork?
Apache is great just uses a lot more resources since it has so many more features than most.

Although when I set up a VPS I go nginx because I don't need a lot of those features Toungue.

I still use Apache, but it has many negatives to go along with the "greatness".

So for you nginx is greater. Smile
For my needs yes it is better. But, for other things apache may be better. Apache is great for having multiple people on the server because of .htaccess. To do rewrites in nginx wouldn't be as easy for multiple users on the same server.
