The link to the trashcan forum is a old plugin that was updated 5 years ago...

^ there is another plugin undo delete (see last pages of that thread to fix any issues with it)

^ if there are any errors, last pages of the referred thread should be having the fixes
install it and if you get errors then deactivate it. PM me admin panel access & ftp login to fix
