Today , When I'm going to attach photo (.jpg) in a thread on my account, Then I got error message :-

Quote:Please correct the following errors before continuing:
The file upload failed. Please choose a valid file and try again. Error details: The attachment could not be found on the server.

Then I checked setting , chmod , upload path .... to clear my problem but all things is right .

ACP>Server and Optimization Options> upload path > ./uploads (777)


After 1 hour , finally found my problem answer but not getting solution ...

:-

1. I renamed internal uploaded folder name (/uploads/201205)from server(cpanel)

Folder named :- 201205 to NewFolder 

2. THen i tried to upload files (.jpg) and congratx I have successfully uploaded

its automatically created folder named : 201205 and file uploaded in it

3. Then i deleted this folder .

Folder named : 201205

4. Then I renamed actual folder to real name .

Folder named :- NewFolder to 201205

5. Now, Again tried to upload .jpg file , guess what I failed to upload and showing same message .


But file in not uploading in /uploads/201205 , it uploaded in /uploads folder But getting error message

I don't know how to fix , Thats why i want help from Mybb .

So it's being uploaded to 201205? If so try changing the permission of that folder to 777.

yep ! I tried but it auto changed to 755 .....

Also /uploads to 777 ......
