okay uhm i used a tutorial to make a new theme i made a new folder with a theme name and put all the fils in there but now sins i upgraded the forum to 1.6.7 all my edits are gone only the images remain from the theme i customized can i get it back?

Your templates will need to be reverted to default to make sure they are running the 1.6 HTML. To do this go to ACP > Templates & Style > Templates > Find Updated Templates > for each template choose Options > Revert to Original. This will mean you will lose any template edits you have made, however you can save the edits and make them again after once the rest of the template has been updated.
okay but how can i create a theme then where it has its own files so this wont happen again with every update? is there a tutorial somewhere?

You should keep a back up of the theme on your PC just incase Smile
well i did that but when i reuploaded it only the icons and logo where there nothing else so i reuploaded my backup from earlier and that did it
You need to save the .xml file too... That is what holds the templates and CSS ect...
okay and where can i find that file inside my new theme?
Admin CP ---> Templates and Styles.

Then find the theme you want to save the xml file of. Then press the down arrow and press export theme.
