I'm planning on just doing a 1.2 clean install, while trying to keep my members, posts, topics, and forums databases.

What tables do I need to keep?

Also, what table does the calender save under?
I don't think this will work.

You can't just use "INSERT INTO..."?
Ofcourse. But I think that your forum won't work properly. For which other reason should we need the upgrade script then? Toungue
If you follow the install directions in wiki, you'll basically be doing a clean install. You delete all your folders and files and do a clean install, but then you upload your config.php and settings.php so that it can reattach itself to your database, thereby preserving all your member's posts!
So, just installing mybb 1.2 and adding your old 1.1 tables would work? ^o)
That's what everyone else is doing!
Well, I don't have my settings.php or config.php. Is there anyway to do a clean install, and keep my database information, with just using the database alone?

I didn't do that and just ran the upgrade script.. that isn't so hard. Toungue

Ofcourse, just do a clean install and import your tables. Smile
