I have a table which crashed and couldn't be repaired. All other tables seem OK and are responding normally. I just wondered what is the best way to restore the missing table. I've managed to get a backup of that one table (mybb_posts), but am not sure how to restore it.
At the moment if I go into MySQL and click on that table I get a message saying that it's marked as crashed. Does this mean it doesn't exist and doesn't need to be deleted before I restore the backup? Or should I try and remove the crashed one first before importing the backup of that table?
Hopefully I'm not coming across as a simpleton here.
