It should be very much possible. I believe there are plugins for Mumble integration with SMF and PhpBB, so a MyBB one shouldnt be too difficult to come up with.

It seems the integration for smf and phpbb both use python. So if you can find someone with reasonable knowledge of python it won't be hard since from what I can tell it just checks the users table in the database.
