can some1 please help asap

fixed it now by over writing the settings file with another 1 but what caused it to happen this software dont seem as reliable since upgrade
Please paste the line # 184 of ./inc/settings.php file.

The other SQL error is database config issue;

This occurs when you are using MySQL and the database name or database username is incorrect in ./inc/config.php. To fix this, open ./inc/config.php and check the entries for $config['database']['database'] and $config['database']['username']. If you do not know what needs to be here, contact your host provider. i`ve just over write the setting file with another now to get it working m8 so cant put what was there now

and its just happened again so had to overwrite again to get it working this is getting a joke now
Its getting the saved settings back because overwriting the file wouldn't solve it. The settings saved in AdminCP will change the settings back again.

Please attach your settings.php file so I could see the line# 184
thank m8 here it is

its done it again now saying this

You've got a plugin that's trying to set a bad setting name or something. Disable plugins one by one and save your settings again after deactivating each one until it stops happening.
the only plugin i`ve recently installed is the CloudFlare Manager (1.0-beta 2)
That may well be the case but the setting that is causing the problem stars with 'profile' and no default settings start with profile so it's not a default settings, maybe start with any profile-related plugins and go from there.

Either that, or it's just erroring whilst generating for some reason. Hard to tell really.
it was working fine last night and i have not installed anything or changed anything its doin my head in that much i`m thinking about payin for vbulletin or ipb
If you want to overreact and pay for other software because a file is being generated incorrectly, then you can, but by the same logic you'll need to go and buy a brand new car the next time you get a chip in your windscreen. For all you know you could get the same thing with other software if they generate files on-the-fly too, and if you say you haven't changed anything, then at the same time MyBB's code hasn't suddenly changed to cause this either, we just need to work out what it's doing.

Is the error always on the same line every time, or does it change?
