Today many many years ago, many great men and woman lost their lives, to defend the freedom that we abuse today. Canadian, American, British and many other troops did many brave actions, defended freedom and liberated Normandy's beaches. Today is an anniversary of D-Day.

Do not forget those who ensure your freedom. Those who fight while we stay here, and barely think of their contributions. If you see a veteran, or a member of our armed forces, be sure to just say "Thank you for you service" and offer to shake their hand. For they have done a great favour for our country, and deserve our respect.

Lest we forget those who have fallen.

What about the others ?
EDIT: Forget it, just found it.
Let the memory of what happened that day never be forgotten. Wink
