I'm mystified by this. Sporadically, images will show as broken when using the [img] code on my forum. I run into this problem with both local files and from places like PhotoBucket. I always double check the direct links to be sure they're correct and they are.

Example:

[img]http://theheartofcamelot.com/gallery/1_07_06_12_4_27_18.png[/img]
This code shows the image as broken. (though it seems to work here)

While as you can see, the direct link displays it just fine.

The same thing happens with PhotoBucket. About half of the images work and half don't, while the direct link is clearly valid.

I'm pretty positive this has nothing to do with plug-ins or modifications, because it's been happening ever since I did a fresh install about a month ago.
Any ideas on this?
If some images are loaded and other don't, almost sure it is not a parser problem.

Maybe a problem with page load or something similar? Like, your host, Internet connection, or maybe Photobucked fault.

I have a fast connection and besides, the images that are broken are broken for everyone. I also don't think it's an issue with BlueHost, since I don't have these issues anywhere else that I use BB code on my hosting account.
Can you share one thread where the problem appears? All threads I open use attachments and they load correctly.
Can you link to a post where you get this problem?
Sure! Here's a thread that has several of them.

For some reason the output is like this:
http://theheartofcamelot.co& # 8 2 0 3 ;m/gallery/1_07_06_12_4_40_51.& # 8 2 0 3 ;peg

http://theheartofcamelot.co& # 8 2 0 3 ;m/gallery/1_07_06_12_4_40_51.j& # 8 2 0 3 ;peg

That may be the problem.

& # 8 2 0 3 ;

Without spaces.

Yeah, that must be the problem. I looked at the source and saw the same thing just a minute ago.

Very strange!
Maybe a plugin of yours, as you can see in my last post, it works just fine here.
I'm going to close my board for a few minutes, disable all plug-ins and test. If it works, I'll try turning them back on one by one. Back in a few minutes to let you know how it goes.

Thank you for all your help, by the way. I really appreciate it.

I disabled all plug-ins and tried it. Same thing. Sad
