Sure, there was no release since this problem was reported...
The fix for this bug will be available in the next maintenance release (currently planned as 1.6.9). Unfortunately due to some problems with our GitHub setup, which has prevented us from opening it to the public, the fix isn't available as a patch.
first, if it is a bug in MyBB, why report it on the Firefox bug site?
second, is it really a bug when new standards are developed that impact the MyBB (and apparently a few other places) code? That is like saying W3 changing the <HEAD> tag is a bug in MyBB
Basically Firefox 'wigs have introduced an API that sets something that we use in our script. Because they're bigger than us, and it seems not many people use that name, we have to change it so that it does not interfere with their new feature.
Sigh. But what do we know. We're 'mostly kids'.
Still present in the 16.0.1 release build .. Can you post the patch here?
