Hmm - odd. If the directory is there and that is there, I honestly can't think what else could be wrong

I had this problem with another page of mine on 000webhost leading to a 404, so I used that as per http://www.000webhost.com/faq.php?ID=16

Its supposed to be .htaccess (without the .txt at the end) i think. The htaccess.txt is a mybb file included in the download. Something you with certain host (or even with all not sure ) like for example hostgator need to convert to .htaccess otherwise the settings in these files have no affect.
