You need to contact your host, explain the error you're getting and that you've checked your database settings and they're all correct.

They just keep saying its not there side. Do i need to change that back to mysqli? I am also in th middle of changing over to Web Wiz and he has given me a test page for now and an error is coming up there too

At www.wirraltalk.co.uk it loads for ages then goes to a error, i think it was 2013

What is the host actually replying to you with?
Ask your host to check the status of the mysql server and to check if any firewall is blocking it.
2002 - No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

I was thinking that but surely it wouldn't happen on too different hosts would it?
But saying that i have never changed databases before so i am hoping i have done it right but got nobody to double check it for me.
