I have downloaded to my pc a plugin, but can not find how to install it, i have read other peoples comments, but i have no plugin manager in my admin cp.
I have no plugin manager listed
Plugin Manager means the page where plugins are listed.
Ah right, but how do I get the plugin I have downloaded on to my pc, in to that section, so I can install it and activate it.

Am thick me lol:

I had to get the web host to install my forum for me, as I messed it up so many times.
To install the plugin, you've to upload it first. Keeping the folder's structure intact, upload the files in proper folders.

Upload both folders to the ROOT of your forum. All files inside these will go in proper locations themselves.

and which folder would root be in, see pic of ftp panel
I assume httpdocs is the directory where you have to upload it.

You can simple check on that:
Open the httpdocs folder an look if the following files are there
  • index.php
  • newthread.php
  • modcp.php

those are 3 files randomly chosen from the mybb package... but if they are there, the rest of the Forum should be also Big Grin
