How do you stop user from deleting there own post.

AdminCP -> Users & Groups -> Groups -> Registered (or whatever group you want to stop deleting there own posts) -> Forums and Posts -> Uncheck 'Can delete own posts?'
AdminCP > users and Groups > Groups > Edit that Usergroup > Under "Forums and Posts" tab > Untick "Can delete own posts?" checkbox.
