can we add a recent Thread Slider in to home page? with Images on it, is this possible?

That's possible but Not without a plugin. There is no such plugin as far as I searched though.

I think you need to be clearer about what you want. It seems that you want a latest threads plug in which includes images to show on the home page. Do you want more than just images - do you want the last poster and avatar and a preview of the post text? The more specific you are in what you are looking for the more chance of some help

Is your home page forums/portal or forums/index or your site/index?

By a slider you mean a slide show or a sidebar?

home is .com am .com/index both, im new to Mybb so im not clear , i need to show image an some description in the slide, like in wordpress sliders
