I can't login, on localhost...

Yes, in settings.php, i have set

$cookiepath

to

/mybb/

yet, nothing happens.

What happens when you try to login?

I've got RC4 on localhost/mybb/ and my cookie domain and path settings are actually blank, and everything seems to work fine for me.

It tells me I have been logged in successfully, yet, when it redirects me to the board index - I'm not.

I also have this problem, but instead of loggin in, I can't log out on localhost

I have tried many combinations of domain and path for the cookies, and still nothing.

I get the "logged out successfully message" but it doesn't. I reported it ages ago, but non one could help me.

That's weird, with ZoneAlarm on, I can't login to myBB...

[EDIT] Nevermind, had to add my IP and "localhost" to Privacy > Site List.

That's possibly because when you change your cookie path it is trapping you in with the old cookies as MyBB cant remove them. Clear your cookies, then login, and you should be able to logut again.

I cleared cookies, and cache, nothing. Any more suggestions?
