I've got a user on my board who gives out his referral link commonly, and he recently noticed that his referral link seems to have capped out at 4 registrations, and many other users can't seem to register with his link.

I can't seem to find anywhere in the ACP that refers to a limited number, and have not been able to find any threads indicating this sort of problem with the system.

Any help with this issue is greatly appreciated.

There's no limit that I know of. I wasn't able to find anything either.

He goes to a lot of events where he provides it. He's already had 4 members register with it, and three others tell him that it's giving them an error message when they try to register with it.

Works for me. Are they mistaking the insane registration agreement for an error?

It worked on my end as well. This error you speak of is likely something else. Ask the referrer to be a little more specific.
