There is a possibility to allow members editing their own post for a max specified time:
Dashboard ->Posting -> edit time limit

Is there also a simulair option to allow members to DELETE there own posting? The only option I can find is in the 'Group-settings' but there it is only possible to allow or prevent deleting postings.

I would like an option that members can delete there own postings in lets say for example the first hour.

Is there a possibility to get this work?

Possible with a plugin. I've searched but returned zero result. If I've free time then I'll try to code it in few days.

If I use this plugin do I have to set the usergroup 'can delete own messages' and 'can delete own threads' to 'on' or 'off'?

Ofcourse, ON. Since the user may delete his/her post before the time you selects.
