I have a suggestion for MyBB 2.0.
I think a "Read More" option for posts in portal page will be useful. (show this option after 1000 characters, of course admin will be able edit this from admincp )

e.g I have only 7 discussions in this page but the hieght of page is too large.

+1 for this but i would like something like this before 2.0 i dont think it would be hardest thing in the world to code so. Would be kinda nice having this as an option in the 1.8 serie.

If they plan to keep the portal in 2.0, this addition is a must IMO.
