I am trying to make a secret section of my forum, like a VIP only section. So what I did was create a new user group, and set forum permissions that only users in that group (and admin) can see the special section I created.
I logged in as all other levels of users (registered, mod, etc) and only admin can see the section I made which is good. But when I went to test the usergroup and add a registered user to it, they can see the new section but also admin and staff only sections! Yet they are still only a registered user! How come and how can I stop that from happening?
When I take them out of the usergroup they go back to normal, but then they can't see the new section either. Any help?
