Aha. I thought that gif/png thing of the fish was good. Professional icon. Well, you might be able to adapt the idea a little for the logo - the waves - the sky - and a shark jumping out of the water. Or maybe just his head and teeth.
I contacted to owner of that icon to make sure it's ok to use.

It doesn't matter if the creator of the icon gave you permission. Did Grooveshark?
You would be OK to use this in reference to Grooveshark, but not just as a forum icon for something totally unrelated.
that icon is not grooveshakrs that use a different one and the creator gave me a commercial use for it. I had to pay 5 bucks for it so yes it is ok to use.
It's very possible that icon author is not allowed to sell those images. Anyway, do what you want.
