So yesterday Tierney (Pixlr) showed me this awesome program Adobe is working on. From the videos it seems it's only 4 guys doing all the work (Aside from people contributing to github), but it's a completely open source project so it's pretty awesome. The program has some amazing features so I figured I'd post here to spread the word.

(Jarring text is annoying, but it's worth watching)

Here's a link to their Github:

And you can download it here:

Check it out, it's a very promising project, it's already made me move from DW.
Wasn't there talk about this months ago?
I searched first, couldn't find anything. But I just found it myself so I have that "New software" excitement. xD
Had a little lol. As a massive DW user this is funny:

Quote:But we don't want to do it by adding a bunch of icons, toolbars and floating panels that get in the way of what you really care about.

Really Adobe? Because in the last 3 updates it seems that is what you're hell bent on doing.

Brackets is cool. Big potential and a big shift for Adobe.
wow I had a look at this, and this may finally get me away from notebook++
From the video it looks pretty good. I do everything from Notepad++ so maybe this ones helps a lot.
I'll wait until they say it's ready before making a decision but Sublime is going to be hard to beat IMO Toungue.

My thoughts exactly and I said the same on WeDesign. The only appealing feature is the quick CSS editor. I'm sure a bundle could be created for Sublime to do that though.
Brackets is a cool idea ill keep my eye on it as its gets developed

I have been using sublime for awhile now but the lack of auto complete for PHP drives me nuts sometimes.

Have you installed CodeIntel? If not, do so and you should be happy Smile
