Hey there. Sorry, I'm trying to get my forum so a friend of mine told me about MyBB. I was following the Tutorial from here when I got stuck on connection with my sever.
It's probably an idiot question.
...how do I create my sever or something like that?
I'm currently using FileZilla. Before uploading the files from the "Upload" folder, I see I must connect myself to a sever, which was asked to be mine.
How do I do that, exactly?

You've to put your FTP Username, Protocol and Password and hit Connect button.

Have you bought Hosting ? If so then they must have emailed you the FTP login credentials.

Follow the Tutorial
Tutorial asked me to download one of these [

Chose FileZilla.
Need to log in in the FileZilla

Yes, but hosting and forum software are two different things. Forum software is installed on host, forum software is free and MyBB is not responsible to buy you a hosting too. You've to buy it yourself.
You'll need to get yourself some webhosting. There's a thread
found here that contains a community submitted list of decent hosts - both free and paid - that you could use.

Now, what should I write on the "HOST" and "PORT" fields, while using the FileZilla?
I've tried my site's URL and /home/excasr/public_ftp/, I think you guys are not surprised it didn't work.

Something weird happened.
While following the tutorial video, I tried to log in and everything went okay, however, the following happened:

Why did it could not connect to the sever? Am I doing something wrong?
