I notice PNG files can be attached to MyBB posts without showing up in the attached files footer appended to posts with attachments..
the footer is necessary for non-displayable items such as zip files and such.
But for jpg, jpeg, gif, etc it's not necessary.
How do I remove .gif files from being displayed in the attached files section which is appended to posts with attachments.
Like I said... the attached files footer doesn't show for attached PNG files so I know it's readily possible.
So what do you guys/gals think? Any ideas? I'm not sure myself.

SO basically all I had to do is avoid wrapping an attachment in img code and just insert attachment directly into post... this solves the issue.
