I have searched, and have yet to find a thread which provides a resolution to my scenario.

Everything I have found regarding this error is related to "Mark All Forums Read"

The "Mark All forums read" option works on my forum, however, this error appears when I or any member clicks on "Subscribe To This Thread":
Authorization code mismatch. Are you accessing this function correctly? Please go back and try again.

I apologize if this has been discussed elsewhere but I could not find it.

Sorry but, where exactly do I add this code? When I check templates I get a different result than expected.

Please paste the template's code of the templates mentioned in the thread linked above.
