The users are saying there are not getting there activation email.
How can I solve this.
Also - How can I stop users joining with the swearing filter so they cannot join with the name

If it doesn't send any email then you've to contact to your host.
For the other issue, AdminCP > Users and Groups > Banning > Disallowed Username
i have also problem on this especially yahoo mail users..i also test that yaldaram posted above and ther result is fine..i found that after upgrading from 1.6.6 to 1.6.8 the message languange file seems to be broken and newly registered member doesnt recieved any activation code..i have fixed the problem when i replaced the message_languge file from fresh 1.6.8 package
