Hi all, I want to add in this sidebar http://community.mybb.com/thread-73062.html latest post and recent topics in place of "latest news". How can I do that?

where would i install the first one to

You've to install just as installing a plugin normally.

Is the first one use Jquery to close/ open the bar?

It isn't a way to simply add recent threads to the sidebar I linked?

First plugin = No
Second Plugin = Yes

No, since it does need sql query to fetch latest threads etc.

Yeah, but in order to download your second plugin, I have to pay 10 $

Not just this plugin. You're paying for almost 100 plugins. Just to make the facts right.

Anyway, you may use the search feature to search various mods that "closely" does what you want, e.g.: http://mods.mybb.com/view/recent-topics-on-index-page

I solved by adding latest threads plugin. Then I add {$elatestthreads} after my sidebar div!
