I think the stars in an user's profile and in postbit should be spaced out a bit. For custom stars and images it looks bad with them being so close together.

Wrap them in a div and apply a margin to all images within that div.

That's personal preference in the theme and I suggest you make the changes yourself. It's never been a problem for me.

I don't even think user stars should exist. They're such an outdated concept. But that's something to think about for 2.0. We should probably keep it in 1.8 for the sake of preserving a legacy version.
