Who is willing to answer a question of intelligence?

(First, Excuse me for my bad English )

Question:

In one room,two long ropes are hanging from the ceiling.
we want to tying two ropes, But not long enough that we able to take one of them in a hand and approximate to other.

You can use this tools for solving your problem.
- Pliers
- Matches
- Some of cottons

How to tying them ?

Who can answer this?

What are the ropes made from? Nylon?


If so, use the pliers to cut down one rope, weave it into place using the cotton, then use the matches to melt the ropes together to prevent fraying


Or, use the pliers to separate the rope, split a few strands away and bend them double over the rest of the rope. Wrap cotton around the bend to secure it, and use the matches to melt it a bit, then tie the ropes
