Please help. I was on the admin privilages screen and i clicked on revoke my powers by accident. now i can't access the admin privilages or the backup screen anyone know a fix?

Try going to your phpMyAdmin, view the mybb_users table. Then find and edit your entry.
Set your usergroup to 4 .

It's in the adminoptions table. Find your userid and edit the options to yes to fit your needs.

that wont fix it. He revolked his admin powers, not his usergroup.

However, this is a way to fix this, you'll have to do it in phpmyadmin, and it involves editing the adminpermissions table. Anyway, I'm too tired tonight to tell you how to fix it, but I will figure it out in the morning and post back asap.

I notice this behavior is still within mybb 1.2.1 The code should exclude uid=1 since that's the administrator/installer of the forums. It's dangerous that the admin can have their powers revoked.

Please consider making a change to the next update.
