How to chose which threads should be shown in the portal (/portal.php) page on my forum, please?

Admin CP > Configuration > Settings > Portal settings
Where it has threads to pull announcements from type in the forum id(s) you want announcements to be pulled from you can find ur forum id by clicking on the forum and looking at the url it will say yoursite.com/forum-1.html the number is the forum ID
If you mean the Latest threads box you cannot control wat shows there
I'd go for the plugin since I had problems with mybbs original portal
Please consider it is a WIP plugin (which means, something may change when I release it).
Also, if you have problems with the original portal, the plugin will not fix it, since it only "modifies" the portal behavior.
