What plugin are you using for this custom thread style?
I am using one of the default templates with some of my own php inserted.
I changed the icons to my own.
The menu is my own.
Since it's entirely your own custom work for this, I can't see why you can't add an anchor to "comments".

Add this

after

You can use this type of URL to jump to the 2nd post directly:
