Hello everyone! I have just switched from SMF to MyBB 1.6 and I have to say that I'm loving the features on it so far!

However, is there a way to disable ip-viewing for moderators/super moderators?

I have read some threads about this but they are old and out of date.

I know of the function where we go to:
"Edit User Group" > "Groups" > (group of choice) > & unchecking "Can view IP addresses on who's online?"

That only fixes one part of the problem.
The other problem is that it did not hide IP addresses in Mod CP. <- is there anyway to change this?

It needs a plugin but unfortunately there is no plugin available publicly. I've developed a custom for my own use, if you wish you may contact me for the plugin.

you could remove the "IP Section" from the modcp i guess however i am not sure on what sideeffects that would have nor on how to do it.

@fma965; Yeah. I've messed up once on mybb. I'm afraid to mess it up again.
I'm a total newb at coding and even a newb a leeching.. so yeah..
