So my website has been working fine untill I decided to update to a .net domain :/. I have all my files in the public_html in CPanel but when I type in

Since when have you uploaded/changed your domain's DNS records? It can take 24-48hours for changes to take effect since in my view it goes to a invalid DNS page (nothings pointing to that domain).
Did you configure your domain,properly with correct nameservers??
I can't even see your landing page.
If your problem is installing mybb,then do follow this URL as some hosts have problem in recognizing index.php automatically.

Exactly I can't see it either. I type in the website name and usually it gives the mysql error but it does not even do that. And doing what you said didn't work either. D:

Go to your webhosting or domain name panel and make sure that you have the nameservers pointing to whatever Hosting24's are. It'll take anywhere from 24-48 hours for any changes, but after that it should work or so.
BUt how would I make sure the nameservers are pointing to where they should? Do I goto DNS Advanced? Thats what I did since it takes 24-48 hours I don't know if it worked. I tryed pointing them to 000webhost I just bought the domain with hosting24.com
000webhosting is the free version of hosting24, try opening a support ticket and asking them about your issue and asking them what their NameServers are, they should be able to tell you.
Good, you might want to remove the /install/ directory just as a safe practice even though it has the lock file in it.
