Hello,

Are there any plugins (or would it be something simple to create?) where I could set the flood control in regards to creating a new thread, rather than simply posting?

I think a plugin like this would be quite helpful, especially for when people are trying to flood the forums, I could set it so they can only make a new topic once an hour or so.

I know there is a plugin that allows a certain amount of threads to be posted per day (located here: http://mods.mybb.com/view/limit-number-of-threads ) however, it would be much less stress on non-spamming members if I could simply restrict the time between topics rather than restricting the amount of topics per day.

You will need a new plugin, none exists for this ATM (I suppose you already knew that).

I'm taking this one on and will release it soon :p
Generally works but need to sort out the code and maybe add a few more features ^_^
