I have a favorite game I like to play on my computer, and it's StepMania.

What is your favorite game?

Command & Conquer.

My favorite is a toss-up between Age of Wonders and Stronghold. I'm leaning more towards AoW though, it serves as heavy inspiration for one of the games I'm designing. I also absolutely loved the art style, with landscapes that almost looked like they were painted on the screen rather than blitted pre-rendered bitmaps. Best part: despite being from 2000, it works just fine on x64 Win7 at 1920x1080 (with a couple of registry tweaks IIRC). Screen shot (hey imgur, jpg is bad for these kinds of pictures. Please stop mangling them).

Mixed a good element of rushing and objective strikes. Turtling didn't work in this game.

Yup, Generals Zero Hour was great, and so is the 4th one Tiberium Twlight, and their free version of the game now Tiberium Alliances (https://alliances.commandandconquer.com/). So Command & Conquer is my favorite game.

Definitely Minecraft at the moment.
