Following error is coming when I am opening my site (any thread, message, ACP etc)

MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
1040 - Too many connections
Query:
[READ] Unable to connect to MySQL server
Please contact the MyBB Group for support.

I am having a worst experience with MYBB from last 1 month.

Daily Unique Visitors : 3000.
Current Host: www.hostgator.in

Host which have already suspended me:
hostgator.com, x10, some other local premium dedicated host.

There were some more modifications done. Like adding J-Query Slider, editing layout etc. But it was done by someone else. So I am not sure what is increasing server load.
