I uploaded an updated version that fixes that issue. Also, please, don't PM for support related issues, ever. I do frequent the forums far more and most of the times ignore PMs some hours.
You can upload your image to your forums.com and then go to change your avatar in the user cp, where it says avatar Avatar URL: put your forums.com/YOUR_AVATAR.png
Tell me if you wan't this made simpler.

it does not work because forum puts scale to images
