Note how there is a bunch of black space on the left and right sides of the page. I would like to take the borders of the forums (the brown bars the forums are contained in) and make those the borders of the web page instead. Is this possible?

I don't like having everything contained in those small boundaries, and that black space on the sides just looming there.
Change the width of the #container from 874px to something like 90% (whatever percentage you think is best).

But the thing about this theme is that you'll have to change a few other things to get the theme the way you want it, since it's a fixed-width theme. Like all of the images pretty much. The two below images are an example - they are made for the current width of your forum.

I see what you mean.

Well, perhaps I can work around it. Is there a way to place sidebar coding on the outside of those borders? I would like to put in a sidebar on the outside, but if I place the code in the index, it just squishes everything inside together.
To clarify, here is the forum.

I would like to have the forums centered, but the bar on the right. I would also like to have the footer centered.

Possible?
