I have had issues with the editor, and jScripts then.
So you're saying download mybb again, and reupload the admin and jscripts dirs?

Actually before you bother doing that use Tools & Maintenance -> File Verification.
That should tell you whether all the files are valid. If any jscripts appear there then reupload them.
