hello i no there is a google maps already but i dont want it were people can tick were they are
i was wondering is there a way i can add google maps to my site so people can view directions
as i have made a forum for freebies and sales in my city only so i wanted a map for just my area were people can get directions to peoples house
is this possible

just go to your ACP > users and groups > users > click on the user options > show ip addresses
then go here

http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/network-location/
and trace them , you can always ban some proxies ip addresses
i'm trying to make a bot which get automatically all the proxies from hidemyass website
will let you know after i'm going to release it , mean while ban the ip addresses for the proxies/free vpn's

if you can find an iFrame or API call that will get you the Google Map view you want, you can use the Page Manager plugin to add it to your site and keep the integrated look. You could create it yourself if you dont want to use the plugin. there is already a member map page for Page Manager that you could use to get started.
