I'm not sure if i'm posting this in the right thread, but is there a way to switch hosts without loosing all my website data?
yes mate
first of all copy all the files in your ftp and paste them in 1 file on your desktop call it "forum"
then go to your phpmydamin and go to export choose the sql extension and click on export
save the file then go to your new hosting phpmyadmin and press import then choose the sql file we exported from the old phpmyadmin then go to your desktop and copy all the files in the "forum" folder then go to your new hosting ftp and paste the files there
