So basically I own a site
http://filegeek.net (won't be able to access the site yet due to editing everything)
Basically, how can I make it so people can't register on the forums they can register on the site then use their name/pw to login to the forum?
So once they register on the site it automatically makes them a member of the forum?

It would require a lot of code changes. I don't know how MyBB works that well, so I couldn't tell you.

I would suggest starting to see if the software you have has a mybb bridge. There are bridges listed on this board here:

My random guess is maybe for the registration form use the same DB as your MyBB forum?
