Sorry if this is in the wrong section...

I followed PaveMan's tut, to put the portal page as the site's index page. It works quite nicely. I've been quite satisfied with myBB, compared to other forum solutions. It really is the best one imo, open source, etc.

Since the portal page, is now the site's index page. When a user logs in or logs out, it still redirects to /forums/index.php, instead of just going back to the portal page (/index.php). Is there anyway to change this. I tried poking around in member.php


I searched a bit, but couldn't really find anything fast, so I thought it would be easier to make a thread about it.
When you log out, there is like an action that happens. Maybe I could add it to that action. I know about other ways of redirection without changing myBB code, but I don't know how I would use them to achieve this.

Is anyone confused? 500 views and no reply. The view counts on these forums are all weird lol.

I think you can directly edit on the portal.php for the return link. I took a look at mine and can probably edit it from there, but for an easy fix try this plug-in:

I guess I will have to live with it not redirecting to portal after a logout from portal.
