Hi folks,

I'm new to MyBB and this might sound like a stupid question but, can anyone please tell me how to move a thread? I looked around but can't find a way to do this.

I just created several sub-forums to categorize things, so some old threads which were not categorized need to be moved to the appropriate sub-forums.

On threadlist page (forumdisplay) select the thread(s) you want to move by clicking on the checkbox appears on right side of the page (it appears to mods,supermods and admins BTW) and then select Move Threads from the inline thread moderation tool dropdown menu box on page's footer.

Below the thread right hand side > Moderation Options > Move/Copy Thread > Select the new forum for the thread > Tick Move Thread or Move thread and leave redirect in existing forum for x days > Click Move/Copy Thread button.
